It's 2011 and this is our 11th challenge so far to date. I'm hoping that this year we prosper in the name of all Nerds, Geeks and Dorks.
When we post our monthly challenges we hope that you are helping to spread the news about them (even if you aren't participating). Get the word out, help bring in more traffic and we'll continue on.

It was a really hard choice choosing a WINNER because the other couple of entries were amazing as well.

So, I went with the creation that I thought did the best job drawing inspiration from the collage inspiration photo.

Onto our first challenge of the New Year....
Here is the JANUARY INSPIRATION PHOTO....
Take from it what you will (the colors, the patterns, the objects, etc.) and do what you do!
Remember, you do not need to create a collage yourself (that's old skool anyway)....just take inspiration from this one and create whatever it is you want.

RULES (gotta have em')
There must be at least 5 challenge entries in order to win a prize. So, start spreading the news about this challenge. We want to see a competition!
Your creation must be linked up by Monday, January 31st for judging.
A voting poll will go up between 2/1/2011 and 2/6/2011. We invite everyone (even non participants) to come vote for their favorite January creation. A private voting party will be going on behind-the-scenes and the Nerdy Girls will be casting their votes too! On 2/7/2011 the January challenge winner (that the Nerdy Girls have decided upon) will be announced as the winner. If different from the public voters choice, the public voters choice will be given an Honorable Mention.

Great News! We are on the lookout for a few Nerdy Girls to fill our extra Design Team spots. Interested? Being a NERD for N.V.S. is SUPER easy! I, the Headmistress, will give you the monthly inspiration collage early on and all you have to do is create something based off it every month. That's all! Inspire others to bring their nerdiness out of them and join our team of the nerdiest designers. The term will end in June 2011. To apply all you have to do is play along to our challenge this month (and possibly next).
